Scott has been involved in the construction of some of the most beautiful and well known super yachts in the industry. Having started in Yacht Construction as a Project Engineer, over the last 12 years he has progressed through all different sectors of yacht construction into the position of Project Manager for the last 4 builds. In total Scott has been closely involved with the marine industry for over 22 years.
Prior to being involved with yacht building, Scott also had a career working on yachts as an Engineer. Starting as a 2nd engineer, he quickly moved through the ranks and gained his Class 1 Chief Engineer Yacht licence and also held the position of 1st Engineer Machinery on the 126m MY Octopus. This technical experience of having worked and sailed on a yacht and understanding the operation, is an extremely critical aspect when building yachts for clients.
Scott's extremely strong engineering background comes from working for marine engine manufacturers MTU and Detroit Diesel for 10 years where he started as an apprentice diesel mechanic specializing in marine work. Scott also studied mechanical engineering and progressed from apprentice through to Branch Manager for MTU/Detroit Diesel at a location that supported the largest marine fleet in Australia.
